Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of oldcarshops.com (the "Site"), operated by Shaguar LLC ("we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Information is provided as-is

We work to keep listings accurate, but shops change hours, phone numbers, owners and specialties, and sometimes close. All information on the Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Always call the shop to confirm details, pricing and whether they'll take your vehicle before you go.

2. No endorsement

A listing, badge or "Verified" sticker is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification or guarantee of any shop's work, pricing, licensing or insurance. "Verified" means only that we confirmed certain details on the shop's own website as of the date shown. Any agreement for work is between you and the shop. We're not a party to it and aren't responsible for it.

3. Submissions you send us

When you submit a listing, claim, correction or other information, you confirm that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to share it, and (for business submissions) that you own or manage the business or are authorized to act for it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide permission to use, edit, publish and display what you submit on the Site and in related materials. We may edit, decline or remove submissions at our discretion.

4. Claims and corrections

Shop owners can claim a listing by emailing us from an address or with information we can reasonably match to the business. Anyone can suggest a correction. We review requests, may ask for verification, and aim to respond within a reasonable time, but we can't promise a specific timeline or outcome.

5. Removal requests

A business owner or authorized representative can ask us to remove a listing. Once we've verified the request, we'll remove the listing or limit what's shown. We may keep internal records of the request.

6. Links to other sites

The Site links to shop websites, maps, and partner sites such as Shaguar. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability. Following a link is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shaguar LLC and its owners and operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage to a vehicle, property or person, arising from your use of the Site or any shop found through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site won't exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nebraska.
